Why in the world would mommy want to take a picture of my toy without me in it? (Aidan came out of nowhere when I was taking the block sorter's picture for this post. I did not intend for him to be in this pic!)

He's ALL Boy!

Aidan continues to keep us busy by staying busy himself. There's no down time with this kid....it's go or sleep (and Aidan prefers to go)!

This picture is a typical day in the Polk house. Yes...I do lock the dishwasher but, as you can see, there's really no point. Aidan can also lock (and unlock) the dishwasher!

Who says I need Mom and Dad to ride my horse?

Here you can see another typical activity....boy how we love balls...and shouting!

Also....we always have time to stop and cheer for the Pokes....even if it's just for a brief moment!

I'll have a Blue Christmas....well actually red, green & white!

Christmas has been an eventful holiday this year filled with many colors! Green stands for the nastiness oozing out of Aidan's ears from yet another ear infection. They say the tubes are doing their job though because now the junk runs right out the ears...so gross! Red stands for the terrible & painful diaper rash that is caused from the stomach problems associated with the antibiotic from the ear infection. White stands for the new molars that are poking their way through Aidan's gums....making this a fun holiday experience for everyone and leaving us with very little sleep! Poor guy has had a rough few weeks but has managed to have some fun too!

Aidan got to celebrate Christmas #1 with Grandma & Grandpa Panke. Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa Sherman were there too! As you can see, the big box was a big hit!

We are so excited that Kyle graduated with his Masters in Engineering Degree from OSU! Way to go Kyle....we are proud of you!

Thanksgiving...Better Late than Never!

I'm a little slow in getting these posted but we were so fortunate to have Uncle Brian and Cousin Taylor down from Ohio for Thanksgiving. Aidan had a blast playing with his cousin!

Aidan's 1st Hospital Visit

Aidan had tubes put in his ears today. He was pretty mad at us when he woke up, but hopefully he'll be much better off now. The doctor said his ears were so infected this morning that he couldn't even see inside until he drained them. Yuck!

Notice the Sponge Bob stickers....we were all wearing them all over the place before Aidan was finished!
